About Shramic Networks
We help Karnataka's coffee, arecanut, and pepper estates find good crews, and help plantation workers find steady, fair-paid work near home. That's the whole idea.
It started in the estates, not an office
We spent time with estate owners, growers, and harvest workers across Kodagu, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, and the Malnad belt. The same story kept coming up: crews turning up late, coffee cherries over-ripening, arecanut and pepper harvests slipping — and workers losing days looking for the next job.
So instead of another job app, we built something simpler to use: line up a crew, agree the day-rate upfront, keep the attendance record, and let a local Mitra sort out the rest. Everything in one place, for the whole season.
One rule we stick to: build it with the plantation community, not just for them.
